Prince William County Police are searching for three suspects who reportedly fled a murder scene after a Virginia high schooler was shot and killed.

Brenden Wilson, 16, was reportedly walking along a paved pathway near Woodbridge Senior High School in Prince William County.

He suffered a bullet wound to the head and other gunshot wounds, according to reports.

Neighbors said they heard between five and six gunshots before the suspects drove away in a pickup truck.

Police have described the suspects as one white male and two black males.

The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Authorities say they have leads, but are not releasing any further information.
