Insane MMA fighter stabs pregnant girlfriend multiple times in attempt to abort his own child

Nicholas Leaning, a former cage fighter, was last week sentenced to 19 years in prison after he attacked his pregnant girlfriend, Lauren Oliver this past June, in an attempt to kill their unborn child.
Oliver had just discovered that Leaning had been cheating on her with his ex-girlfriend, Lyndsey Coombs, who was also the mother of his first child.
The two women had met to discuss Leaning’s infidelity and visited a clinic to check for STDs on the off chance Leaning had been sleeping around with other women. It was there that Oliver discovered that she was pregnant.
When she told Leaning, he told her to “get rid of it” and that if she didn’t he would kick it out of her.
Ultimately, Oliver decided to keep her baby and break up with Leaning.
That didn’t stop Leaning from keeping his promise. Donning his cage fighter mask, he surprised Oliver one afternoon as she returned home. He punched and kicked her multiple times before he pushed her to the ground and stabbed her 5 times in the stomach.
Oliver said she saw his eyes crinkle up in a smile, just before he fled.
