Last week in Taichung, police were called to the scene of a fairly tame crash.
The driver of this blue truck rolled forward and crashed into a parked car. It appeared as though the man had fainted and released the brake.
However, upon closer inspection the police noticed the man was collapsed into the passenger side seat with a small hose plugged up his nose. Following the hose police noticed it ran to a small tank sitting in the back of the truck, they shut off the gas from the tank and revived the man.
The man explained that the tank contained refrigerant. He inhaled it when he was stressed out, depressed, or tired. The man claimed that it helped him with his driving skills since he was a delivery man.
Hm.
Since he passed out at the wheel we’re not inclined to agree with that opinion.
Police took the man to hospital where he was be evaluated for his injuries before seeing a psychiatrist. His license has been suspended for the time being.
Good idea guys!
