In parallel to the Seoul Auto show, New York has unveiled the fresh face of Spark to the world, which is formally known as Beat in many other markets including India.
Reportedly, the new Beat is based on Opel Karl and Vauxhall Viva featuring the same design of Cruze with wraparound tail lamps. Interestingly, the crease with the rising shoulder line isn’t let away on the new model. Actually, the doors with rear handle infused inside the C-pillar too are carried over.
Inside the cabin, instrument cluster of the bike style is lost. Instead, a refined steering wheel, dashboard and touchscreen infotainment system made way to the list.
Under the bonnet, the mini Chevy gets an automatic transmission with a 1.4-litre engine.
Hence, the company claims it of reaching the showrooms by last quarter of 2015. Don’t know when this refreshed Beat will hit the Indian shores, apparently at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016. Stay tuned to us for more updates.
