A noose made of yellow rope was found hanging from one of the trees in Duke University’s Bryan Center Plaza early Wednesday.


Only weeks ago, a Duke University attendee allegedly became the target of a racist song, which was chanted by other students.

Now, another act believed to be of a racial nature has occurred on the campus.

A noose made of yellow rope was found hanging from one of the area’s trees early on Wednesday morning. 

The sighting has caused great concern among the Duke People of Color Caucus, a group that was formed shortly after the previous incident.
