Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met today with Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos. Lavrov said Moscow was interested in strengthening its ties with Latin America. He also expressed Russia's opposition to the US blockade of Cuba and its support of Venezuela against threats from Washington. Lavrov will also visit Central America before returning home. teleSUR
