Chhota Udepur: The furious villagers of Ekalbara axed more than 1200 Nilgiri (Eucalyptus) trees overnight as the forest department failed to pay them money. Notably, the forest department failed to give them money acquired from auction of 2500 Nilgiri trees. Legal proceedings have been started against the persons involved in chopping down trees illegally.
