The solar eclipse was breathtaking for some... For others, the breathtaking pollution obscured much of its celestial majesty from view. Here in Paris, some described it as the total eclipse of the sky. The French government may yet introduce car-limiting measures on the capital's roads on Monday - but only if pollution levels remain high this weekend.
