Thousands of public employees demonstrated on Thursday against the National Development Plan announced by President Juan Manuel Santos and reductions in public expenditures stipulated in the plan. Unions representing workers in health, education, oil and criminal justice are challenging budget cuts that affect their jobs and the quality of services that they provide.
