Putin fabricates excuse by saying NATO´s Baltic exercise threatens Russia´s security. But, in January 2015 Putin already threatened the security of his own country by order an mass drill with fighter jets in Pskov Oblast that worried the former Soviet Baltic states Latvia and Estonia. In response, the United States and the two Baltic states decided to organize a joint exercise. Putin´s counter reaction is the order the military in the north to hold arctic drills.
