On March 16, 2003, an Israeli army bulldozer ran down 23-year-old human rights activist Rachel Corrie, who was trying to prevent it from demolishing a Palestinian home in Rafah. At this time the Palestinian rebellion known as the Second Intifada was underway. Twelve years later, Corrie's family along with Palestinian groups continue to demand justice for this crime. Several criminal complaints have been filed against the Israeli military, but Israeli courts have justified her killing by saying that the driver did not see her. Neither the Israeli government nor that of the United States has conducted an in depth inquiry into her death. Noor Harazeen reports from Gaza for teleSUR.
