The third round of talks on restoring diplomatic relations between Cuba and the Unitd States has ended with no official statements issued concerning the results. The U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Roberta Jacobson met with her Cuban counterpart Josefina Vidal in Havana on Monday for a day of talks. The United States is pushing for embassies to be opened in both countries before the Summit of the Americas in April, but Cuba is insisting that it first be removed from Washington's list of countries supposedly sponsoring terrorism, a charge that Cuba denies. teleSUR
