Huge demonstrations organized by the right-wing opposition were held in several Brazilian cities yesterday. The protesters called for the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff due to the ongoing corruption scandal in the state-owned oil company Petrobras. The ruling Workers' Party said the protests showed the need to continue the investigation in Petrobras and for a dialogue with the opposition. Prior to yesterday's protests, demonstrations were held in support of Rousseff and in defense of Petrobras against attempts to weaken the company. teleSUR
