Mumbai: A newborn girl was found dead below a terrace attached to the second-floor general ward where her mother was recuperating in Dombivli's Shubhada Nursing Home. Shockwaves went through the hospital after it became apparent that someone had picked the baby up from her cradle in the ward and thrown her down. The police is probing all angles, including the possibility of infanticide and the role of the baby's family.
