Björk's Heart Bulges In Her 'Lionsong' Video: Watch
Björk, who has produced some of the most imaginative music videos of all time, has shared the first official video from her devastating new album Vulnicura. Watch the video for "Lionsong," in which the singer offers a close-up of her beating heart and plays with her body's proportions.
The harrowing clip finds Björk wearing the same celestial garb as featured on the Vulnicura cover, and keeps the focus on her vulnerability as her body morphs with the changing tempo. In a press release, "Lionsong" video directors Inez & Vinoodh write, "Björk's character for 'Lionsong' had to be smooth like a spider waiting in her web and seductive like a Balinese dancer cast in bronze. She is seen as if under a microscope, baring her heart while luring us inside the bloody galaxy of her own wound."
