A woman in Wisconsin is now facing charges in relation to a terrible accident that resulted in three children's deaths.

China’s giant salamander is among the world’s endangered animals, but officials in neighboring Vietnam are now scrambling to save one closely resembling it.

Not long ago a creature that bears a resemblance to the famous Asian species was allegedly pulled out of a pond in northern Vietnam, and pictures of it were posted on Facebook. 

Those images caught the attention of an official at the area’s department of forest management, as he had never seen any animal like it before.

Further investigative efforts proved unsuccessful, as there was no record of such a creature living in the country.
