A sharp debate has arisen in Mexico over President Enrique Peña Nieto's bill to reform the Firearms and Explosives Law, allowing foreign agents -in the case at hand, US agents- to carry and use weapons inside the country. Critics charge that the bill, sent to the Senate on February 24, violates the country's sovereignty and reflects pandering to the United States. Clayton Conn reports from Mexico City. teleSUR
