Today is the day Koreans celebrate the first full moon of the lunar new year.

That's right, and there are lots of festivals held around the country that you can go to with family or friends. And our Michelle Park is standing by at the weather center for details on that and the weather. Michelle?

Good evening. Today is probably one of Koreans' favorite traditions,... as it's something that we can all take part in, waiting for the first full moon of the Lunar New Year to rise and making a wish. And there are many different fun and festive activities taking place to celebrate so if you haven't planed your evening or weekend already, make sure to check them out, since some of them are being held throughout the weekend.

Currently, it's after a quarter past the hour and the moon is already out. But if you want to see the moon when it's at its highest and brightest,... you'll want to check back at 12:36 a.m. The sky is looking generally clear, so you won't have any problems seeing the moon.

The weather for tomorrow and the weekend looks favorable as well, with temperatures warming back up to the seasonal averages.

Let's take a look at the readings for tomorrow,...
Seoul starts off Friday morning at [-3] and gets up to [9].
Daegu and Busan will top at [11] and [10] degrees.

Moving over to other regions...
Jeju Island gets up to [10], Dokdo hits [5], while Mount Kumgang dips to [-2] degrees.

That's all the weather for now. Have a wonderful evening.
