In Colombia, the Association of Indigenous Town Councils of Cauca Valley charged that the indigenous peoples and social movements in general are being subject to attack. The Association said that the indigenous peoples are being stigmatized, persecuted, threatened and legally harassed by the government and land owners. teleSUR
