In May 1986, Siouxsie Sioux and drummer Budgie of SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES were interviewed by Marc Carpentier for 'The New Music' TV show of Canadian MuchMusic channel, with the interview being filmed in the revolving restaurant at the top of Toronto's CN Tower. Siouxsie talked about "Dear Prudence" and "Cities In Dust" singles, the North-American music market, the band regarded as 'punk survivors' and how they never sought to pigeonhole themselves within any particular category.
The last minute of this video is the Banshees section taken from 'The Story of The Cure' programme as shown on Canadian MuchMoreMusic channel (aka M3, a rather adult-oriented spin-off of the youth-oriented MuchMusic channel) aired in 2000 which was in fact an excerpt of an interview with Robert Smith filmed on 13 July 1986 in Toronto and aired on 'The New Music' TV show of Canadian MuchMusic channel on 26 July 1986.
