Sev Puri, as the name indicates is sev topped on puris or papadis, along with potatoes, tomatoes and chutneys. sev puri famous chaat sold in Mumbai streets. The Taste of Sev puri are sweet, sour and spicy.
Indigents-
- 15 crisp puris, papdis or basket puris
- 1 large potato, boiled and chopped
- 1 medium size onion finely chopped
- 1 tomato finely chopped
- 1 cup coriander mint chutneys
- 1 cup date and tamarind chutneys
- 1 cup fresh Sev
- pomegranate Seeds (optional)
- processed cheese (optional)
- chaat masala for sprinkle
Method-
- arranged puris, papdis or basket puris on plate
- top each puris with chopped boiled potato
- add chopped onion and tomato to it
- top it up with the coriander mint chutney as much as you want
- and with the date and tamarind chutney as much as you want
- Sprinkle sev on top
- Sprinkle some pomegranate seeds
- put some cheese on it
- and sprinkle some chaat masala
You can garnish with chopped coriander leaves or lemon juice.
Serve Immediately.
