For two consecutive days, drones have been seen flying above Paris and still, police haven't found out who is controlling the flights or the purpose behind them.

During the early morning hours of Wednesday, the drones were witnessed flying over iconic landmarks in the city including Les Invalides military museum, the Place de la Concorde and near a number of Paris' old gates. 

The drones were also seen soaring over the river Seine in the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower. Just one night prior, five drones were spotted in the city and some of them had flown around the same areas. 

The BBC notes that some of the second round flights were captured on camera and investigators plan to analyze the footage for clues as to what's going on with the mysterious unmanned crafts.
