It’s natural to think that Mars, a planet covered in red dust, would have brilliant, fire-hued sunsets, yet it does not.

Ever wonder what a sunset on Mars looks like? 

Using the images taken by the rover Opportunity, NASA has put together a vine showing what it looks like. And it has quickly gone viral 

The footage, which was originally released some time ago, was digitally enhanced. 

In addition, frames were added to the sequence for the purpose of smoothing out the descending sun’s movement.
