In the last 2 weeks, Israel arrested 10 Palestinian businessmen of the Gaza Strip in a move aimed at strangling the economy. Two were released and eight remain in Israeli prisons. Tel Aviv has also cancelled the permits that allow for the mobility of the businessmen between Gaza and the West Bank. With these arrests, Israel apparently seeks to economically separate the Gaza Strip from the West Bank. teleSUR
