The 15th SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket blasted off from Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 40 today, February 11th 2015 at 23:03 UTC. The rocket carried the DSCOVR Space Weather spacecraft into orbit, a join mission between NOAA and NASA. Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) will be positioned 930,000 miles away from Earth at the L1 point between Earth and the Sun to monitor coronal mass ejections which could interfere with satellites and energy grids on Earth.

This mission had been planned to be the 2nd to attempt a landing on a barge out in the Atlantic Ocean but high sea levels have caused SpaceX to cancel this attempt, instead the rocket will attempt a soft landing on the water.
