The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain reiterated his full hand support for Pakistan army who engaged in fighting with Taliban and other terrorist groups in North Waziristan.
Talking on the occasion of distribution ceremony of relief cheques among the victims of Timber Market tragedy, MQM Chief said it was yet not decided that the blaze incident was due to an accident or escapade of man. He prayed almighty Allah to confer health and guidance to the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to let probe the incident well.
Mr. Hussain said that whenever any incident occurred in the country, Malik Riaz, CEO Bahria Town appeared as guardian angel for the victims and provided utmost assistance to them. He said that Mr. Riaz had fulfilled his promise to compensate the blaze victims and also said that if someone received inappropriate amount according to his loss then he could apply Bahria Town with his documents to be compensated appropriately.
He said that he and his party members were along with the victims on three consecutive days to help them out of such unforgettable incident of their life. He said that his party also provided assistance during the early days of the blaze but financial restrain hindered the relief work.
Mr. Hussain urged people to pray almighty Allah to create a scenario to let him come in the country to serve people accordingly. He applauded Malik Riaz and Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan for their philanthropic deeds and prayed for their long lives and better health.
He addressed to Malik Riaz to get the attentions of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to provide modern machinery to the firefighters of the metropolitan because the untrained staff did not have any sufficient machinery to coup the blaze in the city of 25 million people. He also praised his party workers who carried out the relief works during the blaze tragedy of Timber Market.
