Annie Lennox Rocks the Grammys at 60
While some stars at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards are relying on outrageous wigs, purple hair, amped-up smoky eyes, major cleavage, and some serious Botox—60-year-old Annie Lennox doesn’t need anything extra to stand out. She showed up on the red carpet with her signature pixie cut (now blonde), subtle pink makeup and a long-sleeved black dress. She definitely wasn’t trying to steal the spotlight and the truth is, she didn’t need to.

When Lennox took to the stage with Hozier singing his hit 'Take me to Church' and then the classic song ‘I Put a Spell on You’—she definitely put a spell on everyone watching. Lennox was arguably the best performer of the night and she didn’t need outsized dance moves, video, a show-stopping gown or major makeup. The woman is proof that powerhouse vocals and raw talent are better than any accessory.
