Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro met with the head of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) Ernesto Samper in Caracas today. Samper said he listened carefully to Maduro's explanation of the situation in Venezuela and US sanctions and would convey the information to the UNASUR Council of Foreign Ministers.
