The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain strongly condemned the murder of MQM Unit-64 In-charge of Society Sector Suhail Ahmed son of Ahmed Usmani in extra-judicial killing after being arrested by plain-clothed police personnel.
In a statement issued from London secretariat, MQM Chief said that 36 MQM workers, including Suhail Ahmed had been murdered in extra-judicial killings by the police, and other law enforcement agencies in recent past. He added that dozens of MQM workers were still disappeared after their illegal arrests.
Mr. Hussain said that police, rangers, other law enforcement agencies and Sindh government were targeting MQM workers with planned-conspiracy under the shelter of Karachi-operation. He expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the murder of MQM worker Suhail Ahmed in extra-judicial killing.
He condoled the bereaved family and said that he along with all MQM workers were aggrieved family at the time of grief. He prayed to almighty Allah to bestow high eternal rank to the deceased. He also demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and DG ISI Lt-Gen Rizwan Akhter to take notice against the extra-judicial killing of MQM worker Suhail Ahmed in police custody.
