A project led by women in 25 low-income communities of Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras, is enabling poor residents to grow their own food. The initiative consists of creating and maintaining vegetable gardens from which participants can obtain healthy food while saving money and using a very small amount of water. teleSUR
