Apple’s top boss Tim Cook is filling his boots based on the company’s success.
We learn that his salary, bonuses and other compensation last year totalled 9.22 million dollars – that’s 8.23 million euros – and was more than double his pay in 2013.
Apple’s share price rose to a record high last year making it the world’s most valuable company.
All the other top executives got a 14 percent raise last year after the board said results had exceeded expectations.
Apple also said Millard “Mickey” Drexler, who has served on its board since 1999, will retire as a director at the end of his term in March.
Mickey Drexler, who had previously served as apparel retailer Gap’s chief executive Officer from 1995 to 2002 and its president from 1987 to 1995, is also the CEO of apparel retailer J Crew Group.
