Finally having figured out how to recenter the view and how to use the incompatible bloody crafting menu (the solution to both problems was to have a gamepad plugged in nearby, do those two tasks - centering and using the crafting menu - using the gamepad, then return to mouse and keyboard) this game just got a little more welcoming for my pure VR experience.

Now where do these guys stash the booze so I can make those smoke thingies? I could've sword I picked up some ethanol earlier but I might not have saved that moment? Or was that in survivor mode? I forget already... so much tension, so much anxiety.... I forget!

Random VR Let's Plays are infrequent recordings I perform while playing a given game in VR. While some are sometimes posted in parts due to excessive length, these series will not contain a play of the full game. This is mostly because with graphics intensive games, I can feel the video capture tax my frame rate and I always prefer running clean without recording.

The VR capture is cropped in these videos, mostly for screen viewing convenience. A little under half the vertical field of view is lost, but the image fills the screen more and the original aspect ratio is properly preserved this way. The output view is centered to fairly match what my eyes are paying attention to.
