In 1989, in celebration of the centenary, the Rhatian Railway remobilised three living "whitnesses" of that long forgotten epoch: the 115 year old 2-6 wet steam twin engine "Rhätia", and the two almost 100 year old 2-8 hot-steam twin engined "107" and "108".
More than 60 years after the disappearance of the last of their kind, the picturesque valleys of Graubuenden once again resounded the unmistakable "call" of the steam trains.
