Photos of Samsung Galaxy S6 were recently seen from an Iranian tech
website. Although rather blurry, the images showed the front and back
panel of the smartphone together with the Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5.
As we near the anticipated release date of the Galaxy S6, more and
more leaks on the upcoming handset are coming out. Details about the
smartphone have not been announced, but a prototype of the Galaxy S6,
with model number SM-G920F, has reportedly been sent to India for
scrutiny and testing.
As for the specifications, reports say the Samsung Galaxy S6 will be
powered by an octa-core Exynos 7 SoC with 64-bit architecture or a
Qualcomm 20nm Snapdragon 810 chipset; Android 5.0 Lollipop; 4GB RAM; a
5.5-inch full HD screen; 16 megapixel rear camera and 3.1 megapixel
front camera.
Some fans are guessing that Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy S6
at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show while others think that it will
be announced one day after the Mobile World Congress in March.
However, Samsung has kept mum about the release date as well as any
details at all about the features of the phone.
Samsung may get rid of the plastic build of its phones to make way for
sturdier phones. In a statement, a Samsung spokesperson said, "We will
strengthen our product competitiveness by reinforcing our premium
brand reputation, powerful product line-up, and cutting-edge
technology."
