Navsari: The much anticipated kite festival is coming soon. It is a joyous occasion, when spirits soar as thousands climb on to rooftops to fly kites that dots the sky. But, at the end, this joyous fest leaves many wounded; be it humans, birds or animals. In addition to it, many lose life too. So take keen care while flying kites. Avoid early and late hours of the day when birds fly most either in the search of food or they may be on the way of their home. A kite thread slit throat of a 17-year-old Navsari boy Malhar Naik who luckily got his life back after 82 stitches.
