Dominic Dyer: Chief Executive of the Badger Trust & Policy Adviser for Care for the Wild


Natural England, Pye Homes and AAE environmental have destroyed a badger sett in Kidlington, Cherwell, Oxfordshire that has been there for over 20 years in order to build a five-bedroom family home on the land.

To remove badgers,a fake sett was built nearby and one-way gates and electric fences were installed to stop the animals returning to their original home. There is now no sign of the 10+ badgers.
