In a recent interview with Australian Women’s Weekly, Angelina Jolie said that she loves her family, but being married and raising children is ‘hard work.’

Jolie told the magazine that she and her husband, Brad Pitt, “work really hard at nurturing our family to make sure that everybody is alright and everyone stays connected."

She also said she's careful that her work doesn’t come between them, and ensures that her endeavors don’t put too much stress on her family.

The actress was clear, though, that being married brings her a lot of joy, as does spending time with her and Brad’s 6 children, whom she described as being some of the funniest people she knows.

They’re all clearly there for her when she needs them, too, as Pitt and three of their brood attended the US premiere of ‘Unbroken’ in her place.

Jolie directed the film, but couldn’t make it after coming down with chicken pox.

The couple’s 11-year-old son Pax has also shown that he’s willing to go the extra mile for his family.

When it was realized that nobody ordered a cake for Pitt and Jolie’s wedding this past August, he took it upon himself to bake one.
