Yemen's new government has won a vote of confidence in Parliament. The move is regarded as a victory for President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi and his allies. It restores some credibility in Hadi's ability to negotiate with the southern separatists and the Houthis who now control large areas in the northern and central parts of the country.
