On Tuesday, Kathie Lee Gifford shared one of her interactions with the comedian. The ‘Today’ show co-anchor said that during one of their last encounters from decades ago, Cosby attempted to kiss her.

Gifford explained her reaction stating “I said, 'Bill, no, we're friends,' and he said, 'OK, goodnight,' and I said, 'Goodnight.' And I went to my room, and he went into his room.”

She went on to say that many married man make advances towards single women and again pointed out that he respected her wishes when she made it clear no physical contact would happen.

Gifford also spoke out about her work history with Cosby. She was his opening act for a number of years in the 1970s and traveled with the comedian.

She recalled how Cosby would often make her and her back-up singers cappuccinos after they performed.

That drink is something that set off alarm bells in Gifford’s mind, as one of his accusers, Beverly Johnson, is claiming she was drugged after drinking a cappuccino he made.

Gifford notes that was not drugged at any time by Cosby. The co-anchor did say that although she is not calling his numerous accusers liars, she hopes the allegations against Cosby are untrue.
