One thing I love about Cliff Yates' cop comedy is the fact that you don't need to be a cop to get it. A lot of his cop comedy relates to real situations that many people who have been pulled over can identify with, and the audience has a feeling of sympathy towards Cliff. I'm sure being a cop child, which means you had a cop dad, was difficult, and Cliff has explained being a cop child was difficult. He uses clever examples of what his cop dad would do as punishment. I'm sure though, it wasn't all that bad. Can you imagine having a friend whose father was a father of police? Hide and seek would be awesome, and you could play games like Child Investigation. I have no idea what Child Investigation is, but I believe it would be an awesome game with all of the equipment someone with the father of police would have. I'm going to start making more cop friends, so I can play some awesome cop games. I think its great how Cliff Yates is able to make us laugh, because a lot of times it's hard to imagine comedy cops, or cops who are comedians. Cops tend to be so serious, which is why Cliff is cool because he allows us to see that cops are human. I believe that there needs to be more comedy cops in the world, so we can identify with them more...plus it would make being pulled over more enjoyable.
