Hilarious comic Claude Shires may not look like he knows how to speak Spanish, but he certainly does. His Spanish jokes are great, but I wonder if he can tell Spanish jokes in Spanish. That may be difficult to do, this bit revolves around the audiences understanding of English. From the audiences reaction though, I have a feeling that the jokes about Spanish that Claude said in Spanish resonated with the crowd, so they understand Spanish. I personally do not speak Spanish, but I know there are different dialects, for example Spanish in Spain is different than Spanish in Mexico. I wonder if that means that there is an actual Spanish and a joke Spanish, I'm sure the respective countries think that their Spanish is the real Spanish, and the rest is joke Spanish. I wonder what kind of dialect Claude was using, whatever the case was, he translated it, so the Spanish joke could be understood by English speakers. We need more comics to do translations so English speakers can understand their Spanish joke. Overall, I loved this bit because the jokes about Spanish were so good that these were jokes Spanish people, and English people could get. Claude is a great comic who thinks about everyone, he's quite generous and thinks about the audience.
