Fans of the Yumbo have been calling for its return for years. In addition to that, the company was pretty successful in reintroducing chicken fries in 2014 and the hope is that Yumbo will also be a hit as well.

2013’s Burger King franchisee of the year, Tom Walsh Jr. remarked “The YUMBO Hot Ham & Cheese Sandwich was a favorite I remember having as a boy in my dad’s restaurants and I know our guests are going to love having it back and sharing it with their own kids.”

Burger King officials have not said how long the ham and cheese sandwich will remain on the menu.
