The 12-day UN Climate Change Conference opened Monday in Lima, Peru. In attendance were representatives of 195 states and many NGOs. The conference will be preparing the terrain for a major climate change accord to be signed next year in Paris, with the agreement slated to take effect in 2020. Rael Mora reports from Lima. teleSUR
