Tens of thousands of people have gathered in Detroit for the ISNA Annual Convention, which host Ayesha Gilani attends to give viewers a tour of the politically, socially and culturally impactful congregation of Muslims spanning the globe. She speaks with the CEO and Executive Director, Hazem Bata; attends the Community Service Recognition Luncheon and the Call to Action, featuring world leaders, influential Muslim scholars, and two separate addresses by former president Jimmy Carter, in one of which he calls world leaders to join him in condemning global violence again women.
