Demonstrations were held in Gaza City on Monday by those left homeless by the devastation inflicted by Israel's massive military assault last summer. As winter approaches the situation has become critical. Those left homeless had been promised housing reconstruction, but thus far virtually nothing has been done. The trickle of construction materials that have crossed the border into Gaza have been earmarked for private projects, not rebuilding housing in the war-torn Gaza Strip.
