It's cold, it's December, and I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather forecast. Some regions started off their week with snow, including here in Seoul. The daytime highs will remain above the freezing point, but wind chills will make it feel about 3 degrees colder than it actually is.

Currently, there are even strong wind and high wave warnings and advisories in effect for some regions,... which are mostly in the coastal areas and in Cheongchungbuk-do and Gyeongsang-do provinces.

Like I mentioned at the top, we have snow in the forecast. Most regions including Seoul are expecting less than 1 centimeter, while some regions, such as those in the Jeolla-do and Chungcheongnam-do provinces can expect heavy snow of up to 10 centimeters.

Going over to the readings,... Seoul will peak at [1] this afternoon and the southern cities of Gwangju and Busan will reach [6] and [10] degrees.

Moving over to other regions...
Jeju island will get up to [10], Dokdo hits [9] and Mount Kumgang will hit [-9].
