STORY: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi was welcomed to Paris on with military honors before a meeting with French President Francois Hollande.

Sisi attended a military ceremony with French Finance Minister Michel Sapin at the Invalides monument where Napoleon Bonaparte is buried.

Libya and regional crises were expected to top the agenda at the meeting between Hollande and Sisi.

The Egyptian President is also set to hold a meeting with Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian over military cooperation, during his two-day state visit.
