Priyanka Chopra was nominated by the PM, along with several celebrities to participate in the campaign.
The actor planned to not only clean up but also rehabilitate a basti in Mumbai's Versova area for which she shot a video in association with Purple Pebble Pictures Production. The video has Priyanka suggesting cleaning up is not a one time act and that the action needs to be converted into consistent effort over time.

Together with her team the actor manages to remove eight trucks of garbage from the land and moves to persuade the locals to continue with the clean up.
