The family of a Maryland mother is pleading with her for answers to find her two missing children. Catherine Hoggle is now in a psychiatric hospital.

She is accused of abducting her two young children, 2-year-old Jacob and 3-year-old Sarah. Both kids have been missing for two months and since then, police and relatives of Hoggle have tried to determine their whereabouts.

The last time Jacob was seen was on September 7th at Hoggle’s mother’s residence. Hoggle claimed she wanted to take the child out for pizza and later returned to the home alone, telling her family she had taken him to a friend’s house.

Sarah disappeared the following day. Hoggle told her common-law husband she had taken both Sarah and Jacob to a daycare facility. When questioned by him, she reportedly wouldn’t tell him where the unknown daycare was.

She disappeared before the police were involved. She remained missing for several days.

Investigators later found Hoggle and charged her with ‘neglect of a minor, detaining a child within the state and obstruction’. She insists that the children are alive and is said to have offered to escort police to the kids.

A judge recently denied that motion as a psychological evaluation has not yet been submitted by the hospital and she was deemed in court to be ‘not competent’.

Hoggle has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. Police presume the children are dead and are reportedly building a homicide case against Hoggle.
