Varahmihir finds the beej mantra (main mantra) of Lord Shani. He reads it front of the fainted queen who revives. She starts reading the mantra. After facing several desert storms Vikramditya is too exhausted to carry on. Shani Dev appeared in the form of a charvaha (village man who looks after cows, boats etc) and quenches Vikramaditya’s thirst. He sends Vikramaditya to the nearby village. Seeing Vikramaditya breaking the pots to drink more water makes the children feel that he is mad. They throw stones at him and one of the stones hits on his head which causes him to faint.
